Covid-19 Virus and South Niagara Canoe Club.
South Niagara Canoe Club is monitoring the situation closely and following the advice of professionals and experts. The health and well being of our members and the community is our number one priority. The City of Welland has extended closure of facilities and cancellation of events until June 30th.
SNCC has cancelled all practices and face to face meetings until further notice. We hope to be back on the water on July 1st, however that cannot be guaranteed. Please feel free to register for summer programming, payments may be deferred until programming is a certainty.
The Board will be meeting via ZOOM communications software on a regular basis to make decisions in the best interest of our members, the club and the community. The Board is in constant communication with the SNCC Safety Officer.
These are uncertain times that require constant monitoring and flexibility in decision making. The Board appreciates your patience and understanding and will issue updates on a regular basis.
Please come back to the website and watch for updates from the Safety Officer, the Board and your coach regarding SNCC's action plan to the COVID-19 virus
