    This program is designed for athletes who are focused on racing.  The focus is on learning to paddle and compete in sprint canoes and kayaks.  

    The autumn program  is 6 days per week and runs from Monday September 17th through Wednesday October 31st.   

    Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.   &  4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Tuesdays & Thursdays  4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Saturdays  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

    There are no practices on Sundays and holidays.

    This once a week program is designed to work on paddle technique, strength and fitness, getting paddlers ready for the on water season in the spring.  Please note that there will be no session on December 29th, January 26th or March 2nd  

    Saturdays,  9:30 a.m - 11:00 a.m  - Nov. 3rd,  through April 13th

    Plus   Three training camps with Video review:  9:30 - 2:00 p.m.

    Sunday  Jan 27,  Sunday March 3, Saturday   March 30

    Winter Session for Recreational Dragon Boat is focused on fitness, stroke development and techniques, and fun.   

    90 minute sessions include 45 minutes in the tank and 45 minutes in the gym

    This is an excellent program to build on your strength, fitness  and technique through the winter to prepare for the on-water season.     

    Beginners will get a jump on learning a new sport as well as increase strength and fitness.   

    We have attempted to work out a price  that fits into everyone's schedule,   We at South Niagara Canoe Club are dedicated to making our recreational programs available to everyone.    If you have special circumstances that make it impossible for you to fit into any of our packages, please contact the Vice Commodore Dragon Boat at and we will do our best to accommodate you.

    We offer one free Drop In for non-members, after which Drop In fees are  $20.00 including hst for non-members, $15.00 including hst for members, please pay drop in fees when you attend, and email us at the above address to let us know you are coming.
