Member & Non Member Dragon Boat Programs

 To participate in any of our member programs you need an annual membership.  The annual fee is $95.00.    This is to be paid once per year and allows the member to register and partake in our different member programs and grants voting privileges at the annual general meeting.    

      Registration for 2019 on-water programs will be open April 1st 2019.

Winter registration is still open for recreational dragon boat, membership fee waived for new members only for Winter programming.

Mondays & Wednesdays

On-water Recreational Dragon Boat  -

What does it look like?

* Skill level – Developmental, Developmental Plus, High Performance

* 2 practices per week; Monday and Wednesday evenings

* 1 additional drop in on scheduled Saturday mornings during Spring session.   Saturday mornings are a test program to be reevaluated at the end of the Spring session.

* 60 minute practices focussed on developing paddling skills, team work and camaraderie

* Yearly club membership must be paid at the beginning of May or upon joining the club during the summer

*Several packages are available to help meet individual schedules.  Program fees due upon registration.  Payment plans available upon request.  The best price available for participants when purchasing the full on water registration package.  Spring/Summer/Fall

Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays

On-water Competitive Dragon Boat –

What does it look like?

* Skill level – Developmental, Developmental Plus, High-Performance

* 3 practices per week; expectation to attend 2 out of 3 weekly practices: Tuesday, Thursday evenings, Saturday morning

* 90 minute practices focussed on developing advanced paddling skills

* Yearly club membership fee must be paid at beginning of May or upon joining the club during the summer program

* Program fees paid in full by end of May.  Payment plans available upon request.

Optional Winter Training Programs:

- twice per week for 90 minutes at WIFC from January through March

- once per week for 90 minutes at WIFC from November through April

- Optional week’s training camp in Sarasota, Florida in late April - Coach reviews paddler’s progress, when needed
