WellAND Paddle

This canoe/kayak program is for individuals aged 15 and up with intellectual impairments. The goal of WellAND Paddle is to introduce the participant to the sport of sprint canoe/kayak at a recreational level, teaching them in a fun and safe envirnoment.  WellAND Paddle is part of a larger movement across Canada to grow the Special Olympics/PaddleAll programming so that our sport of sprint canoe/kayak is accessible to all athletes.  If interested and comfortable, there is opportunity to compete at local, provincial and national levels.  Please ask you instructor for more information. 


  • Wear comfortable clothing as you might get wet.
  • Bring a towel, a dry change of clothes, and bottled water to drink.  
  • Support persons are welcome to cheer from the shore.
  • SNCC will provide the boat, the paddle, and the personal flotation device/life jacket.  Our instructors and volunteers will also provide fun and safe training!

Days and Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm
